Transparent mandibular quadrant arch model in acrylic and resin materials with anatomical teeth and mandibular nerve.

  • Buccal side shows mental foramen and canalis mandibularis.
  • Lingual side shows mandibular foramen, mandibular nerve and partially impacted wisdom tooth.
  • The model is a tool to explain to patients the relationship between the teeth nervus mandibularis.

 

Together with X-rays, the model visualizes the mandibular nerve and the nerves to the individual teeth, making it a good way to inform the patient about both treatment needs and options. It can be useful when describing how each tooth is connected to the nerve and when explaining anesthesia and tooth extraction procedures.
