Course for the Entire Clinic with Dentist Andrea Poulsen

The course reviews different causes of tooth wear, including why malocclusion can lead to wear. We will cover muscular pain, bruxism, and treatment with occlusal splints. Learn, among other things, about the crocodile or cow and the dangers of mediotrusion!

This course is designed for the entire clinic team who wish to improve their diagnostic skills and take an active interest in understanding and contributing positively to workflows related to occlusal treatment, occlusal splints, and healthy occlusion in general.

Dentist Andrea Poulsen will, using study models, patient cases, and clinical videos, review the causes of impaired occlusal function, wear, and erosion, enabling you to recognise these conditions at an early stage and guide patients towards optimal prevention and treatment.

We will examine different causes of tooth wear, including why malocclusion can lead to wear. You will gain insight into muscular pain, bruxism, and treatment with occlusal splints.

In short, you will be equipped to diagnose and support your patients at a higher clinical level.

Practical Information

Lecturer
Dentist Andrea Poulsen graduated from Aarhus School of Dentistry in 2005 and has since primarily worked in private practice — both as a clinic owner and as an associate dentist.
Andrea has a particular focus on the rehabilitation of patients with extensive treatment needs. She has a strong interest in occlusion and performs a significant number of vertical dimension increase treatments.
In Denmark, Andrea has attended a wide range of courses on occlusion, and in England she has completed the Core Curriculum at the Dawson Academy in Wirral.

Venue
At your own clinic, with your own catering arrangements.

Duration
A visit has a duration of approximately 6 hours and can be adapted to your needs.

Certificate
A course certificate can be issued to each participant for 5 hours.

Price
DKK 33,250 incl. VAT for up to 20 participants.

Additional participants are charged at DKK 500 incl. VAT.

Travel from Kolding will be added according to the Danish state mileage rates, as well as any bridge tolls.
