Customer service in dental clinics
Verbal and non-verbal communication when meeting patients

Course for dental assistants and receptionists with Sisse Wellejus Hansen

Everyone who deals with patients on a daily basis already knows a lot about communication. The ambition of this course is to raise awareness of our ways of communicating - both with our voice and body language. We will talk about the patient's experience in the encounter with the clinic - from booking an appointment to walking out the door after treatment.

Sisse's presentation will be unpretentious, humorous, human and full of opportunities for dialogue. It will be smooth sailing with loving and honest treatment of topics such as cultural differences, human interaction tones and the ability to set healthy boundaries. You can't learn kindness, but you can gain the courage to smile and look people in the eye.

Purpose
The purpose of the course is to increase awareness of attention, presence and kindness towards patients.

How do we meet the patient with personality and empathy without becoming too familiar?

How do we create safety for the patient?

How do we set healthy boundaries when a conflict arises?

How can we take cultural differences into account and understand different people's expectations of us?

Basically, the aim of the course is for the participant to gain a greater awareness of their own role so that the patient experiences being met
