E-learning course: Telescopic Prosthetics

995,00 DKK

Telescopic and cone crowns are an often overlooked treatment option for patients with limited residual dentition, where fixed prosthetics are not possible, but where maximum stability and long-term durability are still desired. Support teeth do not have to be completely fixed - they can be fixed with a telescopic crown treatment.

In this e-learning course, the trainer, dentist Peter Gade, will thoroughly map out the workflow for the telescopic crown treatment. We will go through the provisional planning phase, preparation, trying in primary crowns, impression taking and bite registration. In addition, we look at setting up for trial of outer crowns and frameworks, followed by cementation of inner crowns for final delivery.

The course is practice-relevant, and Peter generously shares his many tips and tricks for telescopic and conical crown treatments.

The e-learning course is distinguished by the fact that you can view it as often as you wish, and you can access and review selected parts of the course as the need arises. Throughout the course, a number of clinical

cases from Peter's many years of practice are used to illustrate the course. The goal of the course is that participants will be able to offer this treatment option to their patients.

Course certificate:

According to the Danish Dental Association's guidelines for documented continuing education, e-learning counts as regular continuing education if the actual course length can be verified. Of course, the e-learning course must also meet all the other requirements for documented continuing education.

The course length of this course is known, as the recorded sections and average reading time of supplementary material can be added up to a total of at least 4 hours. The course length can be further verified by answering test questions along the way and thus obtaining a course certificate from the Dental Institute.

As the course is partially sponsored and therefore has limited commercial content, the continuing education hours that can be registered are reduced from the actual 4 hours to 3 hours.

Remember to register the 3 hours with the Danish Dental Association.
