Course with theory and practical methods for aiming correctly the first time
Everyone wants to maintain good radiation hygiene and limit unnecessary radiation, but the opposite is true when you can't aim correctly and have to retake the images several times.

Content and purpose:
It is now required that the tube of intraoral X-ray devices must have the same shape as an image receptor (rectangular) and with a reduced radiation field of max. 4 x 5 cm.

On January 1, 2023, it was no longer permitted to use circular tubes.

The trainee will be updated on how to:

  • Acquire intraoral radiographs using parallel and angle bisecting techniques.
  • Quality assure and evaluate own images

The student will receive theoretical and practical guidance in working with X-ray images while taking into account optimal radiation hygiene.
